Looks like Apple is preparing for a new update over this weekend. The rumored features are Disk mode and Voice Capture. These will be great features to add it to a Phone. Basically, you should be able to throw your Jump drives which you carry around these days to store your personal files and other things. That way, one less thing from your keychain. It’s great to have Voice capture on the phone. Now you can throw the voice recorder you may carry around these days.
Finally these two great features hit the iPhone, it will add more value and market for Chrismas gift givers. Hopefully, they will support in their SDK to customize these features.
I am not sure whether they can get File Browser for the personal files you store it with. Let’s see in 2 days !!!

I would be nice if we can download email attachments and have the ability to store it locally on the iPhone. I run into the problem of not having edge data access as I drive around the county. I would be great to have copies of pdf and word documents stored locally on my iPhone.

Right now, you can make those documents into an image and store as picture. But ideally, if we get a reader with Disk access, that will be good.

I guess there will be a release from Apple very soon. There are some posts and videos recently on the internet. It looks legitimate.
