Apple released the first Beta after iPhone OS 2.1 surprise release. As usual, we don’t have any additional information about when the push services will be made available for developers. As of now, the release note mentions that this release covers the compatibility (iPhone OS 2.1 ?) and bug fixes. I haven’t played it yet with the new SDK and hoping to see the things soon.
Version History:
- iPhone SDK for iPhone OS 2.2 beta 1Â (build 9M2611)
- iPhone OS 2.2 beta 1Â (iPhone build 5G26)
- iPhone OS 2.2 beta 1Â (iPod touch (1st generation) build 5G26)
- iPhone OS 2.2 beta 1Â (iPhone 3G build 5G26)
Due to NDA, I cannot publish other things like README or Release Notes. Hope to see good things with this release and resolve lots of other issues with previous versions. Cut/Copy/Paste will be nice too !!!

Is there any one to reply to this comment?
If so please send comment so I know I’m not talking to myself…
I am looking to have a discussion about developing a series of analogies to help developers understand the basic interaction of the Objective-C code and the user interface components.
I know that the iPhone paradigm is not actually that far out, but there are enough concepts named differently from most other languages(including c) that it makes the learning curve needlessly steep. The key to having apps that don’t crash phones is not to confuse the developers with the easy stuff…
I’m getting that lonely feeling, will somebody please reply to this comment so I know I’m not wasting time!

Sorry, I was busy with other things. But i am not sure about the direction you want to lead people too. Please elaborate here.
